ReplyZero is a Chrome extension that helps YouTube creators find comments on their own channel that have not received a reply from that channel.
When you connect your YouTube account, ReplyZero uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API to access information needed to provide the extension's core feature. This can include your YouTube channel identifier and title, comment threads on your channel, comment text, author display names, timestamps, like counts, reply information, video identifiers, and video titles.
Google's authorization screen may describe the youtube.force-ssl permission broadly. ReplyZero 1.0.0 uses that authorization only to read the YouTube data required for its inbox feature. The extension does not post, edit, or delete YouTube comments, videos, ratings, captions, or other YouTube content.
ReplyZero uses YouTube data only to identify and display comments that your channel has not replied to. The extension stores the most recent scan, comments you mark as handled, and free-plan entitlement state using Chrome extension storage so the interface can persist between sessions.
ReplyZero does not operate its own server for storing your YouTube comments. Google OAuth tokens are obtained through Chrome's identity API and are used to make requests to Google's YouTube Data API.
ReplyZero offers an optional paid plan. Subscription checkout and subscription-status services are provided by ExtensionPay and Stripe. ReplyZero does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
ReplyZero does not sell your YouTube data or use it for advertising. Data is transmitted only as necessary to provide the extension's features, including requests to Google/YouTube and subscription-status requests to ExtensionPay. Payment information entered during checkout is handled by the payment providers.
Network requests made by ReplyZero use HTTPS. Access to YouTube data requires your Google authorization, which you can revoke from your Google Account permissions.
You can clear ReplyZero's locally stored extension data by removing the extension from Chrome. You can also revoke ReplyZero's Google access from your Google Account. Payment or subscription records held by ExtensionPay or Stripe are subject to those providers' retention and account-management processes.
This privacy policy may be updated when ReplyZero's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
